Nicki Minaj‘s first fragrance Pink Friday is expected to land at retail this month, so the promotional campaign, including the print ads, is in full swing. The ads are everything you’d expect them to be — larger than life and full of Minaj’s favorite, feminine color.
Minaj sports a ballerina-like tutu and heel-less, blingy platform heels in the images, which also include the creepily futuristic bottle. The bottle is shaped in the image and likeness of Minaj herself, complete with a pink wig. The New York City skyline looms large in the background in of the images.
The images are fluffy like cotton candy, and just as confectionary.
The ‘Pound the Alarm’ singer is no doubt looking forward to unleashing this scent on the world and on her beloved Barbz. She was intimately involved in the process of creating the aroma, so she is incredibly proud of the final product. The scent blends floral musk and a playful cloud of pink floral petals with creamy vanilla and carmelized pear, along with Italian mandarin, among other scents. Sounds delectable.
With her first perfume on the way and her new role as an ‘American Idol‘ judge announced, it’s shaping up to be a very good month for Miss Minaj.
